A song from the past which has been running through my past since late last week / the weekend is Green Day’s “Boulevard of Broken Dreams”. Lyrics here. I didn’t really know the full lyrics until I searched it this week.

This morning, while listening to the song on YouTube on the school run, I also decided to click on another YouTube suggested song by Green Day: “21 Guns”. It’s the first time I’ve heard this song, and I kind of like it. The lyrics (here) resonate too.
