Met my cousin this morning, so she could pass me a Christmas wreath for decorating the flat. She also passed me a “nice date dress” which she thinks I’ll get more use out of. Although I laughed and said “I’m not dating. I don’t date.“

Then I met an old Singaporean school friend of mine for lunch. I accompanied her as she ran some errands, including buying some wine for Christmas – so I discovered a long standing wine & spirit merchant, which I had never knew existed before. And we popped into Fortnum & Mason. She was horrified by the crowd, which she had never experienced at Fortnum & Mason before, whereas I’m used to the horrific pre-Christmas rush, as I usually can only do my Christmas shopping after work.
