L5 class with EG

Conditioning:

1) straight arm front pull-ups (x4 x2 (ie. once on each side))

2) leg tucks with australian shoulder-mount grip (x3 x2 (ie. once on each side))

3) undergrip with blade into matrix lift (x4 x 4 (ie. twice on each side. only because most people, myself included couldn’t keep up with her speed of doing x4 at her counting speed))

4) leg lifts (x10 x2): basically we sat on the floor, back to pole, leaned forward with our hands near our knees, then we lifted both our legs quickly (x10) while keeping our legs straight out, stuck together, and toes pointed

Technique:
1) Flatline and Viva: my flatline and viva were quite good. much better when i trained with nat (probably because i was less tired than when i am usually with nat. or maybe because i didn’t do a climb, eagle, angel before that). i couldn’t be bothered to do the combination that the L5 advanced girls were doing: climb, eagle, angel into flatline and viva. because i tried climb eagle and failed MISERABLY. so i just climbed up and ungracefully hooked my right leg on the pole (doo-di-doo..)
2) Combination: Climb, V-sit, Bow & arrow first stage, slide down to elbow handstand and split dismount (the class worked on the following combination: Climb, V-sit, Bow & arrow, slide down, bow & arrow handstand split, elbow handstand and split dismount). I didn’t do the full bow & arrow because my foot is still hurting. i still found the elbow handstand scary, but it is getting better.

I bailed after that to go to Dinner with YF and M.

Anyway, EG didn’t take attendance like she usually does (not sure if she did so last week because i wasn’t there), but she remembered my name – yay! she was like: “e* isn’t it?” (score!! :)) but the downside is… she’ll probably remember if i don’t turn up as well. boo 🙁
