Pole spin

Technique:
1) Falling angels on the other side (pole on RHS) x 3: was struggling to get the confidence to do it without hands for a bit… so did several outside angels. eventually did one set of leg switch, 3x

2) Attitude x 3 (on the other side): Did attitude 3x with left knee hooked on the pole. yay! 🙂 i’m getting to be quite versatile now! 🙂 although i felt less secure on this than on my other side it seems. i didn’t feel confident enough to lean too far out when i let both hands off the pole

3) Superman: really struggled to get into superman from outside angel.. pole was super grippy and i was not moving anywhere.. the side of my body and the insides of my thighs were stuck. having the two supporting hands closer together is easier than having them far apart (which i’ve been doing so far). and need to let legs drop slightly once i get into position

4) Pencil from hangback x 1: Succeeded only once, although i tried once before and failed – struggled to get my bum to slide over my hands and felt like i was losing grip. The good thing was that J was very efficient and capable at spotting me and getting me out of my inverted position. – yay, i feel safer now! anyway, i did manage to get my bum down and over my hands the second time around. the key is to bring the feet nearer the pole and release the inner thighs slightly and go for it. my hands would get caught in my pants slightly, but i need to ignore that and go ahead with sliding down. apparently V-legs is easier than pencil, although i found pencil easier.
